  6.      I owe a great deal of thanks to many users of the ABC FUN KEYS
  7.      program for their ideas which you see incorporated below.  I
  8.      sincerely welcome any suggestions you may have that will make
  9.      this program more enjoyable for little children.

  11.      ABC FUN KEYS VER. 4.30
  12.      ----------------------
  13.        *  The only change was an UPDATE to the MAILING ADDRESS.  Due 
  14.           to lease arrangements beyond our control, we are being 
  15.           forced to change our address.  Address changes are 
  16.           traumatic for shareware programs.  We will greatly 
  17.           appreciate your help to distribute this new version of ABC 
  18.           Fun Keys to BBS's and shareware libraries.  See the file 
  19.           PLS_READ.ME for more information.

  22.      ABC FUN KEYS VER. 4.21
  23.      ----------------------
  24.        *  Major addition was the integrated installation program,
  25.           INSTALL.EXE.  This will automatically install the ABC
  26.           program to hard or floppy disk, unpack files if necessary,
  27.           introduce the user to some of the more important game
  28.           configuration features, and allow the documentation to be
  29.           viewed and/or printed.
  30.  
  31.        *  Three minor program bugs were fixed.  For the most part,
  32.           these were inconsequential.  The most serious was a bug
  33.           which could cause ABC to hang in Heaven & Mud on very slow
  34.           XT computers running monochrome monitors.

  37.      ABC FUN KEYS VER. 4.20
  38.      ----------------------
  39.        *  Modified the opening "childs" menu to allow easier and more
  40.           intuitive entry into the setup features of the program. 
  41.           Setup and Help are now Ctrl-S and Ctrl-H respectively.
  42.  
  43.        *  Changed the animation technique in Heaven and Mud.  As a
  44.           result, pictures cross over each other better and move more
  45.           realistically to heaven or mud.  Animation is smoother.
  46.  
  47.        *  Minor changes were made to the automatic speed selection in
  48.           Heaven and Mud.  Performance is better on XT class
  49.           computers.
  50.  
  51.        *  Changed the "Please Press a Key" window in Game 4 (Select)
  52.           to a graphic image.  Keys that do not have a picture file
  53.           associated with them like "%" now have a graphic image of
  54.           the key displayed on the screen.  The earlier error message
  55.           has been eliminated.
  56.  
  57.        *  Added a surprise picture to the win and lose endings of
  58.           Heaven and Mud.
  59.  
  60.        *  Changed the "0" "O" and "i" "j" confusing typefaces in
  61.           Heaven and Mud to more easily distinguished symbols.
  62.        
  63.        *  Removed Num-Lock key from program use.  It used to shut off
  64.           the sound.  Unfortunately, it was confusing to many people.
  65.  
  66.        *  Rearranged many pictures to display better graphics in the
  67.           Hercules monochrome mode.
  68.

  70.        *  Made the scrolling lyrics go completely across the top of
  71.           the screen instead of the upper left corner.
  72.  
  73.        *  Added a command line switch to turn off the scrolling lyrics
  74.           for the nursery rhyme songs.
  75.  
  76.        *  Made speed changes in Heaven and Mud "semi-permanent" until
  77.           the ABC is exited.  Speed / performance changes done in
  78.           setup are permanent as always.
  79.  
  80.        *  A few small bugs were fixed like new routines for turning
  81.           the cursor on and off -- hopefully no more lost cursor on a
  82.           few graphics boards.  Also fixed an inappropriate use of
  83.           color in one of the monochrome mode help screens.

  86.      ABC FUN KEYS VER. 4.12

  88.        *  Added the command line parameter /T to allow the user to
  89.           adjust the tempo of the nursery rhyme songs.
  90.  
  91.        *  Made a slight change to correct an "operational
  92.           inconsistency" that caused a return to the adult setup menu
  93.           on succeeding games.  (Nice euphemism for bug.)

  96.      ABC FUN KEYS VER. 4.11
  97.      ----------------------
  98.        *  Added a feature to the control panel to allow the number of
  99.           pictures played in a game to be limited.  At the end of the
  100.           selected number of pictures, the "childs" menu is displayed.

  102.        *  Fixed a small bug that caused the command line parameter /Q
  103.           (totally quiet operation) not to work correctly. (Blush)

  105.      ABC FUN KEYS VER. 4.10
  106.      ----------------------
  107.        *  Added on-screen scrolling lyrics for all twenty-seven
  108.           nursery rhyme songs.
  109.  
  110.        *  Many of the nursery rhyme melodies have been revised and
  111.           improved.  * MANY THANKS * to Jeff Elhai of East Lansing,
  112.           Michigan for these corrections and improvements!  Jeff also
  113.           provided many of the other suggestions which have been
  114.           incorporated in this latest release.  Thank you Jeff!

  116.        *  Shut off NUM Lock, Scroll Lock, and Caps Lock upon initial
  117.           entry to program to avoid confusion with several features.

  119.        *  Added functional arrow keys to the opening kids menu.
  120.  
  121.        *  Added adjustable timing for Game 3 and the corresponding
  122.           control panel settings.

  125.        *  Added an option for easy program restart and exit.

  127.        *  Added an option to allow PrtScreen to function.

  129.        *  The number of songs can be set with a command line parameter
  130.           to allow users to add their own songs.

  133.           user and shareware versions of the program in the opening
  134.           copyright screen and windowed "THANK YOU" screen.

  137.           separate registration instant mailer, an index, hard disk

  143.           and Mike Smeldey's excellent "CXL Extended Function Library"
